Star Battalion HD Quick Review
During my sick week, I switched on my Ipad² and started to browse a few sites talking about IOS games.
In my opinion, you can't really play games when you put your fingers on a screen and act like it's a real joypad but whatever...
Quick review:
+ Nice graphics (the HD version)
+ Good gameplay
+ Easy to control (a V-pad and a few buttons)
+ more centered on arcade than flight simulation
- average sounds/music
- 7-10 hours to finish the campaign
+ online multiplayer
- Achievements and hidden stuff to discover
Conclusion:
3.5/5 for Star Battalion HD for the fun gameplay but it's seriously complicate to play without a real pad.

+Good Puzzle/Action game
+easy to play
+nice gfx
+nice music/sfx
+8-15h to finish the game
+cheap
-Joypad highly recommended
Conclusion: if you like casual action/puzzle UFO/alien shoot games, this one will be in your list.
Rayman Origins Short Review
What a surprise I found when I started to play Rayman Origins.
I was wondering will it be like the old Rayman I've played? Finally here is the short review:
+ Beautiful cartoon graphx/animation
+ Co-op play
+ Good level design
+ Good gameplay (plateform game similar to New Mario Bros)
+ Good sfx
+ Cool soundtrack
+ A lot of challenges and hidden places to discover
+ Funny
- Sometimes commands doesnt respond correctly
+ Characters to unlock
+ For all ages
- 25-40 hours to end the game
Conclusion: If you like plateform game such as New Mario Bros, you will like Rayman Origins!
Shoot Many Robots Review
First out on XBLA then a few months later on PC, Shoot Many Robots is a nice 2D shooting plateform game similar of Metal Slug.
Quick review:
+nice gfx
+good sfx/music
+good gameplay
+casual story (but who cares)
+cheap
+a lot of weapons/upgrades
+fun.
-no way to setup a joypad (I didnt find how to)
I recommend this nice shooting action game if you like spend hours to kill robots.
Mass Effect 3 Deception
As you can see in many forums/videogames blogs/press, the end of Mass Effect 3 was a big fail and I am dissapointed by Bioware's attitude.
I hope they wont mock the players like they did.
Kirby Mass Attack Short Review
Waiting the time when Mass Effect 3 will be out (oops, sorry, it's out now 
), I've play this nice and fun game:
Kirby Mass Attack
Let's say it's a plateform/puzzle game where you have to manage a group of kirbies ready for revenge (again):
go for the quick review:
+Good animations
+Easy to play (maybe too easy)
-Why videogames studios dont think about lefters?
+funny musics
+cheap sfx
-a little repetitive gameplay.
You can finish the game in 12 hour.
The Darkness II short review
The first episode was good, the second is nice! Let's cut to the chase:
This is the story of a guy "Jackie" whose girlfriend was murdered in the first episode and he's back for vengeance.
He has two shadow-monsters coming over his shoulders: the left one is the "grabber" and the right one is the "slasher".
When the ammo is empty, you can use a pipe to empale your enemy or whip him with the "slasher".
Just one thing: the shadow monsters dont like the light!
Jackie has another dark-friend similar to a ghoul who's helping him during the campaign.
I found there are a lot of cinematics in the game, good for having a pause but maybe it's too much?
Except this, the game is really good to play.
Quick infos:
- Cell Shading
- Story: 8/10
- Disturbing visuals, brutal & few sexual scenes
- Little choice of weapons
- Use of objects to perform killing style
- Gameplay: 8-10 hours
- Music & ambiences: 6/10
The Elder’s Scrolls: Skyrim
Finally I finished this fabulous and almost endless game! Here is my short review:
+ tons of missions
+ good gameplay
+ nice soundtrack and ambiances.
+ good graphics (if your graphic settings are in "ultra" mode)
- bugs (a lot)
- sometimes you need to activate the console mode to unlock certain glitches in the game (stuck in many missions)
- the inventory interface is not really practical
So in conclusion, good game, buggy but playable.
Need 4 Speed: The Run Review
Ok, comment faire court:
- durée de vie très courte, meme avec les challenges
+ belles voitures, beaux paysages (même si l'on ne se concentre pas trop dessus pendant la conduite
- peu de choix dans la selection de voitures et obligation de passer pas le mode challenge pour débloquer des versions "edition" de véhicules customisées.
+ bonne jouabilité et réactivité des voitures lors du pilotage.
- le mode cinématique un peu lourd
- les QTE dans le mode "heavy rain"
- temps de chargements long.
Conclusion: c'est court, c'est cher, c'est bof.
3/5 pour moi.
